The quick way to refresh a page in Internet Explorer is to press the function key, F5. By the way this also works for Mozilla Firefox, and Opera. An alternative for all three browsers is CTRL+R.
Renewing Car Tax Online
Just a quick one for car drivers out there in the UK. My car had its MOT recently. The DVLA has computerised the system, which meant that I was able to renew my car tax online instead of queueing in the Post Office. It was fab! and the new disk arrived within a week. Brill!
The place to do it is: http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk
Online Counselling
I recently came across someone offering online counselling and I thought one or two of my readers might be interested. I have no direct experience of this, so caveat emptor. If you get in contact, let me know how you got on.

Online Ergonimics Course
In partnership with AbilityNet, Happy Computers has just completed a course on ergonomics and adjusting your PC settings. This is based on AbilityNet's course of the same name. They say that it is the first course we have designed from scratch to be fully accessible and meeting W3C standards.
They are asking people to try it out and a trial login is below. They are specifically looking for feedback on:
- accessibility of the course, especially anywhere you feel it is not fully accessible
- the course itself, and how useful it would be for organisations
To access the course go to: www.happyelearning.co.uk

Changes Afoot
I've been doing some re-thinking about "Windows Without a Mouse". I've started a blog which you can find at http://www.withoutamouse.com/blog.
I'm also going to change how my newsletter goes out, and will be changing over to a new system. What this means to you is that you'll be getting a message from the new supplier (http://www.1automationwiz.com) over the next few weeks asking you to confirm that you'd like to stay subscribed. I hope that you will want to carry on receiving this newsletter. However there will be an incentive <grin>. Watch this space...
Signing Off
Well, that's all for now. Catch up with you soon.
